Sole Source Synopsis: United States Property and Fiscal Office (USPFO) of Colorado intends to award a contract to World Wide Technology, Inc. (WWT). The Colorado Army National Guard will be performing a three phased project with these professional services. The first phase of the project will focus on optimizing the VDI environment by implementing NetApp's Rapid Deployment Services. The second phase consists of virtualizing common COARNG applications. The third phase consists of exercising the COARNG Continuity of Operations Plan to validate that its disaster recovery site is operational. NetApp Professional Services leverage proven methodologies, tools and best practices to assess, consult, deploy and manage the most effective NetApp Solutions. NetApp uses a six-staged project methodology that closely follows the Project Management Institute (PMI) standard. This common methodology ensures that project sites, milestones, and deliverables are deployed in a similar fashion. NetApp Certified Data Administrators have proven skills in performing in-depth support, administrative functions, and performance management for NetApp storage controllers running the Data ONTAP operating system in NFS and Windows (CIFS) multiprotocol environments. They are able to implement high availability controller configurations for continuous data availability and rapid data recovery in the event of a disaster. They also have detailed knowledge of SnapMirror, SnapRestore, and SnapVault, which they use to manage and protect mission-critical data. This procurement is being made pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) 1 and FAR Part 6.302-1, for other than full and open competition; only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. WWT has unique capabilities and resources to meet this COARNG requirement. See attached J&A for additional details.
