The goal is to improve Battlespace Awareness and automate analysis and decision processes across ground, air, maritime, space, and cyberspace domains. This effort focuses on reducing data correlation time and developing algorithms for pattern of life analysis and behavioral anticipation. The Broad Agency Announcement is open and effective until September 9, 2029, with total estimated funding of approximately 99 million dollars. Individual awards typically range from 3 million to 35 million dollars and generally do not exceed 48 months. This is an open, two-step process where only white papers are accepted as initial submissions, with formal proposals accepted by invitation only. Suggested submission dates for white papers align with fiscal years through FY29, with annual deadlines on November 30. The government may utilize various award instruments, including FAR-based procurement contracts, Other Transactions, and assistance instruments. Proposals are evaluated based on scientific and technical merit, related experience, solution maturity, and cost realism. Additionally, assistance instruments must adhere to Gold Standard Science principles, and all submissions are subject to rigorous security risk reviews to protect science and technology from undue foreign influence.
