Tendering procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid.Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest priced compliant bid.Set-aside under the Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business: This procurement is not subject to any set-asides for Indigenous Suppliers.Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: This procurement is not subject to a Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement.Security Requirements: This contract does not include security requirements.Nature of Requirements: The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.The Correctional Service Canada (CSC) has a requirement for waste disposal of all non-hazardous solid waste and recyclable materials from federal institutional sites located in the Kingston area. CSC operates its own internal waste management system and collects for delivery to a landfill or transfer facility on a daily basis during regular business hours.Objectives: The contractor must operate a fully licensed landfill or transfer facility for waste management disposal in the Province of Ontario.Deliverables: The contractor must provide a valid copy of the Ministry of the Environment issued certificate of approval to accept institutional non-hazardous solid waste.The contractor must provide a weigh bill for every load delivered to the landfill or transfer facility for disposal identifying the type of waste being delivered. The contractor must ensure all weigh bills are duly initialled by their staff as well as the CSC driver at the time of drop off. The contractor must submit invoices based on the price per metric tonne for non-hazardous waste disposal, cardboard, mixed fibre, commingled recycle material (cans and plastic) and any additional fee that may apply per tonnage or per drop off.Any conditions for participation of suppliers not specified in solicitation documentation: none.Estimated quantity of commodity: see solicitation document statement of work and basis of payment.Duration of Contract and Time Frame for Delivery:Period of the Contract: The Work is to be performed during the period of July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024 with the option to renew for two (2) additional one-year periods.
