University of Ottawa – Telfer School of ManagementDescription of the Requirement:Transport Canada requires consulting services to evaluate the current classification of Canada PortAuthorities (CPAs), and to examine potential complementarities among CPAs with a view to supportinggreater productivity of these key federal assets.The Consultant must assemble a multidisciplinary team combining expertise in economic and financialanalysis, corporate finance, marine transportation, business process/supply chain analysis, mergers andacquisitions, and corporate governance.This work will include rigorous quantitative analysis, such as the development of short-, medium-, andlong-term forecasts related to cargo traffic and financial statements.
