Sources Sought: Brand Name 3M Sealants

The Army Contracting Command Aberdeen Proving Ground, Tobyhanna Division, is conducting a sources sought effort to identify capable vendors for a brand name restricted procurement of 3M AC-350 polysulfide aerospace sealants. The requirement specifically calls for two-component, gray, liquid paste sealants manufactured by the 3M Automotive and Aerospace Solutions Division, including 425 cartridges of 3M AC-350 B-2. These products must be listed on the Qualified Products List for SAE AMS-S-8802 and SAE AMS3276, as they are required for their superior adhesion to polysiloxane topcoats and fast cure rates. All items must be delivered to Tobyhanna, Pennsylvania, no later than December 11, 2026. Because the materials are classified as HAZMAT, they must have a minimum shelf life of seven months upon delivery. Each cartridge must include a dispensing tip, and pre-mixed frozen versions are strictly prohibited. This is currently a sources sought notice for planning purposes, and interested distributors must provide their business information and Safety Data Sheets to verify their capability. Future formal solicitations will be issued as firm fixed price contracts with submissions handled through the Unison portal.
