The Mississippi Department of Archives and History (MDAH) is soliciting qualifications for professional building commissioning services under solicitation number 1475-27-R-RFQI-00001. The selected professional will provide a systematic quality assurance process spanning from pre-design through the one-year warranty period to improve energy efficiency, occupant comfort, and equipment life. The contract fee is structured as a percentage of the construction cost. Qualifications must be submitted in duplicate hard copy and electronic format to the MDAH Finance Office by 5 p.m. on November 19, 2026. Selection is conducted via a two-stage process following the State of Mississippi Bureau of Building Professional Selection Policy. Required certifications include those from the Building Commissioning Association (BCA) or accreditation from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The professional must remain independent of the primary architect and consultants and must be registered with the Mississippi Secretary of State.
