Sources Sought for Honeywell Engineering Sustainment for Sole Source Honeywell Parts Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Aviation - Richmond is issuing this Sources Sought Notice as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement.


DISCLAIMER: This Sources Sought Notice is for informational purposes only. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. This is not a request for proposal. It does not constitute a solicitation and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government. Submission of any information in response to this sources sought is purely voluntary; the Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred.


The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to conduct market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support engineering sustainment and program services for sole source Honeywell part-numbered items. The proposed contract action is for engineering and program services, for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to support the objectives by responding to this notice.


All responses received by the notice response date will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received in response to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This notice is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation or commitment by the Government. The contract is anticipated to be a Firm-Fixed Price Contract with yearly renewal options as needed. The objective of this acquisition is to improve acquisition readiness of complex or nonstandard part-numbered items for DLA Aviation customers. This requirement is for all Sole Source Honeywell NSNs, with the following AMC Codes: 3, 4, and 5. The contractor shall provide sustainment engineering support and program services. An analysis will be performed on sole source Boeing parts to include drawing updates, part number versions, etc. Once the review is completed, the contractor shall submit long term contract pricing.
