The Department of Defense, through MICC-Fort Benning, is conducting a market survey via a Sources Sought Synopsis (PANMCC26P0000046460) to identify qualified sources for the upgrade of a Thermwood CNC Ultra 6 SuperControl system for Router MTR21033. The project involves a comprehensive hardware and software modernization at Fort Benning, Georgia, including the installation of a 1 TB SSD, Intel i5 9th Gen processor, new motherboard, and power supply, along with the latest THM software and Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2024. Additional requirements include a preventative maintenance assessment, a one-year parts and labor warranty, and three days of on-site Mastercam training for up to four personnel. All work must be completed within 60 days of the contract award. Due to the proprietary nature of the software and programming language, Thermwood Corporation is currently identified as the only source capable of meeting these technical requirements. While the procurement is designated as a Total Small Business Set-Aside under FAR 19.5, the agency is specifically seeking interest from HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, 8(a) Small Disadvantaged, and Women-Owned Small Businesses. This notice is for preliminary planning purposes only and is not a formal solicitation; interested parties must submit a written notice of their intention to provide a capability statement by 10:00 a.m. EST on July 27, 2026.
