This is a sources sought Market Survey to identify source(s) for the repair of the MD-1386/A IMPROVED DATA MODEM Model, IDM-401, Modules. The items below are seven of the ten Modules that comprise the MD-1386/A IDM401:

The Modules are installed in the MD-1386/A Improved Data Modem IDM401 to perform communications functions. Detailed technical data for the maintenance or acceptance of these Modules is not available from the U.S. Army. Suppliers capable of maintaining / repairing these Modules must indicate, in writing, to COMMANDER, US ARMY CECOM, ATTN: FCDD-ISE-HIB, 6565 Surveillance Loop, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005-1846. The response must include documentation if the supplier was subcontracted to listed source, that the supplier / vendor can perform maintenance / repair services to restore the Modules to serviceable condition. Successful supplier may be required to warrant that these Modules that are maintained/repaired will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army.
