This is a Sources Sought Notice only. This is NOT a Request for Proposal, Request for Quote or Invitation for Bid. DLA Troop Support is conducting market research seeking to identify possible sources that can supply NSN 4510-01-485-0760, Bag, Waste Kit. Interested contractors are requested to carefully review the required features listed below to identify any potential manufacturing challenges and formulate any questions. The intent of this sources sought notice is to gather information that will identify sources for the possibility of a solicitation for the referenced item under a long-term, indefinite quantity type contract. The specification for this Waste Bag Kit is that its application includes construction and outdoor recreational use. The item is currently manufactured by two approved sources: (0VSF2) American Innotek, Inc. Part Number BR549 and (1NXM2) Phillips Environmental Products dba CleanWaste Part Number D007W00. It's described as a double-bag system, puncture resistant with zip closure. Each waste bag has non-toxic powder that gels liquid, catalyzes decay and reduces odor. They are bio-degradable and approved for landfill disposal. In addition to that, each kit comes with toilet paper and hand sanitizer.
