The NSNs listed include aircraft engine seals and cases for turbine and compressor components, with designated expiration dates and qualification codes indicating the Government’s rights to technical data. Manufacturers interested in becoming qualified sources for these engine parts, for which the Government holds unlimited rights to technical data and has established Qualification Requirements (QRs), are invited to submit Source Approval Request (SAR) packages. The Government will provide the necessary QRs upon request, and the SAR submissions are to be sent to the Defense Logistics Agency at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma. This notice is solely for sourcing qualification purposes and not a solicitation for competitive proposals, although proposals received within the specified timeframe after publication will be considered. The Government retains discretion to determine whether to proceed with a competitive procurement based on the information collected. An Ombudsman is designated to address contractor concerns confidentially during the proposal development phase. Requests for technical data not held by the Government must be directed to the public sales office. All inquiries and correspondence regarding non-SAR matters should be directed to the contracting officer, Alan Welch, via email.
