The Department of the Treasury's Bureau of Engraving and Printing intends to award a sole source Blanket Purchase Agreement to Charmilles Technologies for standard consumable parts required for the Wire Machine 2030SI. Because the equipment and its necessary consumables are proprietary to Charmilles, this arrangement is essential to ensure the machinery maintains factory performance specifications, accuracy, and precision through regular maintenance and calibration. The anticipated contract will be a firm fixed price agreement under NAICS code 332710. While this notice serves as an announcement of intent rather than a formal solicitation, interested parties capable of providing the exact items without substitutions were directed to submit their company information to the designated contract specialist.
