South Base Water Utility Lines Replacement

The San Mateo County Transit District is seeking a contractor for the South Base Water Utility Lines Replacement project located in San Carlos, California. The project involves replacing aging fire and domestic waterlines that service three fire-related buildings and six domestic buildings, as well as replacing three hydrants and associated backflow preventers. The scope of work also includes necessary pavement restoration within the project area. A critical component of the project involves the potential encounter with transite asbestos-cement piping.
