Bid #41021: This project involves furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment for the South Sacramento Sidewalk Gap Closure Tree Removal Project. Key work includes traffic control, removal of trees along Cottonwood Lane and Stevenson Avenue to facilitate new sidewalk construction and other infrastructure improvements. Tree removal requires cutting limbs and trunks, leaving stumps two feet above existing grade, with no stump grinding. All debris must be hauled away and disposed of legally. Trees slated for removal must be removed prior to January 31st to avoid nesting season, or approved by the engineer and surveyed by the Agency if removed during nesting season (starting February 1st).
