South Tahoe Basin Wildlife Crossings Planning

This project will assess the best possible locations for wildlife crossing structures along U.S. 50, S.R. 89, and Pioneer Trail, and develop the plans, designs, and environmental review and documentation necessary for consideration of future implementation projects. Future projects resulting from this planning effort, if they are approved, will restore wildlife connectivity and reduce wildlife-vehicle collisions within the network of roads and highways through important aquatic and terrestrial habitat.
