Full Description

FA8629-11-C-2303. Guardian Angel Program. This is a presolicitation synopsis. The Aeronautical Systems Center (ASC), Special Operations Forces and Personnel Recovery Divison, Battlefield Airmen Branch intends to award a contract on a sole source basis to Complete Parachute Solutions, Inc., to supply SOV3-HH Parachute Systems currently used by the Air Combat Command. This parachute system is critical to deploying Guardian Angel (GA) teams at high altitudes and in high wind conditions for the purpose of rescuing downed aircrew members in support of GA worldwide operations. The Government intends to award the effort pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, since Complete Parachute Solutions Inc., is the only firm that currently has the capability to supply the SOV3-HH Parachute Systems.
