Fredericton, the capital of the Province of New Brunswick, is located on the east coast of Canada along the banks of the Wolastoq | Saint John River. Fredericton has a growing population, a stable economy, strong institutions, and offers a high quality of life for its citizens. It is expected that Fredericton will continue to attract people from elsewhere in Canada and around the world. As of 2025, Fredericton has an estimated population of 77,000. The Fredericton Growth strategy and the Imagine Fredericton Municipal Plan indicated that by 2041, Fredericton's population is projected to increase to over 90,000 residents. The Local Government invites proposals from qualified, multi#disciplinary architectural and engineering consulting teams to complete a Space Needs Analysis and Feasibility Study for the St. Mary's Depot Operations Centre, including multiple Engineering & Operations-related facilities located off St. Mary's Street and Two Nations Crossing in Fredericton, New Brunswick, PID 75401612.The anticipated budget to cover the delivery of Phases 1-4 of this Request for Proposal is $180,000. Any continuation of services into Potential Implementation Services (Design and Construction Management) shall be subject to a formally approved scope amendment that clearly defines the additional services, deliverables, schedule, and fees.
