AI Contract Overview
The contract pertains to the procurement of two units of a spacer plate (NSN 5365-01-675-5166) with delivery required within five days after the order date. This solicitation is issued by the Department of Defense’s Aviation Supply Chain ESOC BUYS and is designated for performance at Fort Wainwright. The acquisition falls under NAICS code 332119, with technical and quality requirements governed by the Defense Logistics Agency’s master list, ensuring compliance with standards including MIL-STD-1916 for sampling, removal of government identification on non-accepted supplies, and DLA packaging requirements. The contractor must adhere to physical identification and marking requirements for bare items as well as specific assessments for Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2, either through third-party assessment or self-assessment. Additionally, the contract addresses critical export control considerations due to the inclusion of technical data regulated by ITAR and EAR, necessitating authorization before disclosure to foreign persons. Distribution of this sensitive export-controlled technical data is restricted to contractors with approved US/Canada Joint Certification Program certification and completion of specialized DLA training on proper handling. The contract incorporates stringent cybersecurity, quality, and security protocols to safeguard defense-related technical information, with designated points of contact to manage compliance and delivery coordination.
