This procurement is for 150 electromagnetic relays under NSN 5945-01-053-3279, specifically requiring manufacturer part numbers C4925-1 or DHL-31. The delivery schedule mandates an initial shipment of 50 units within 200 days after receipt of order, followed by 50 units every 30 days until the total quantity is fulfilled. Due to a lack of complete technical data, the government intends to contract only with approved sources, specifically Lockheed Martin Corporation and Tyco Electronics Corporation, and will not consider alternate offers. The acquisition is unrestricted and follows a selection process based on price, delivery, and past performance. The contracting officer may employ an anonymous online reverse auction to determine final pricing. While the small business size standard is set at 750 employees, the government is not utilizing commercial item acquisition policies for this solicitation. All final award decisions will be based on a combination of evaluation factors beyond just the lowest price.
