Special Notice for Terminal Clocks TSA_OIT_BPA_Terminal The purpose of this Special Notice is to notify the public that the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) intends to update/added Kronos InTouch 9000 series terminal clocks to TSA's Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA), HSTS03-14-A-CIO230 issued to Immix Technology Incorporated under GSA Contract No. GS-35F-0265X. Objective: TSA intends to incorporate the Kronos InTouch 9000 series terminal (clocks) into BPA HSTS03-14-A-CIO230. In 2017, Kronos modernized the 4500 series terminal with the InTouch 9000 series terminal. Currently, the 4500 series are utilized and installed at all TSA airports with limited inventory and replacement parts as Kronos has stopped production and sales of the 4500 series as of December 31, 2016. As well, the 4500 series terminals will reach the End of "Support" (EOS) in September 2018, respectively. This update will not increase the BPA ceiling as TSA does not intend to replace all 4500 series terminals; however, only to purchase modernized terminals for those locations that are deemed critical and for those locations where the existing equipment cannot be replaced with on-hand 4500 series terminals due to total equipment failure. It is the intention of TSA, at a later date, to procure competitively a Time, Attendance, and Scheduling (TAS) Saas that will include the terminals (clocks); this system is expected to eliminate the duplication of TAS systems. This special notice is not a request for competitive quotes, bids, or proposals. A solicitation will not be issued; however, responsible sources may identify their interests and/or provide a capability statement in response to this notice. All respondents shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), have a valid DUNS number, Cage Code, and Tax Identification Number. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement prior to and no later than 12:00 PM EST on August 30, 2017. Questions: The point of the contact for this announcement is Mrs. Tiffany Harvey, Contracting Officer. All correspondence shall be written and sent via email to Tiffany.Harvey@tsa.dhs.gov. The Government will not accept telephone inquiries. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This Special Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation, RFP, or RFQ that will lead to the formulation of a contract; therefore, this Special Notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the U.S. Government. No award will be made as a result of this Special Notice. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the Government. Any information the responder considers proprietary should be clearly marked as such. All submissions become Government property and will not be returned, including any proprietary information. The Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any private sector input as a result of this Special Notice.
