The Air Force Test Center (AFTC), Directorate of Contracting, Edwards Air Force Base, California, intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price purchase order to Fatigue Technology Inc., 401 Andover Park East, Seattle, WA, 98188-7605, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12-Acquisition of Commercial Items. Fatigue Technology, Inc. is the sole proprietor for the F-16 Upper Fuselage Field Kit due to the proprietary nature of the equipment and special tooling required. North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 332722. The following will be procured as follows: One each F-16 Field Kit, Part Number: FTTS-F16483-FK containing special tooling. This notice neither constitutes a RFP or an Invitation for Bid (IFB), nor does it restrict the Government in any way to an ultimate acquisition approach. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the government. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL AND IS NOT TO BE CONSIDERED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106(b). This notice is not a request for competitive proposals.
