The City is currently building an aquatics center, which will require lifeguard training. This training is vital to the City of Chesapeake and its staff, as it equips them with essential lifesaving skills. The contractor(s) are expected to provide training to a variety of staff with different skill levels. Current trainings are held within the City of Chesapeake. The City holds several trainings per month with in-house instructors or outsourced contractors at a per-student rate. Additionally, there will be a demand for multiple trainings a month within the City with various class sizes with an option to cancel/reschedule within 2 weeks without penalty.
