CPCPNR. The current composite camels at NSB Kings Bay are adequate to support current submarines and the new COLUMBIA class. However, based on a current study being executed by NAVFACSE, the current composite camels at the EHWs and Site VI Layberth are inadequate to meet UK Dreadnought (UKD) hull pressure requirements. The concept study identified a modification to the existing camels to meet UKD requirements. This project is to design and procure modifications to the five (5) composite camels at the EHWs and the two (2) wide-body composite camels at Site VI Layberth. This project will also design and procure two (2) new wide-body composite camels. This project may also design and procure additional fender pile, pending confirmation. New and modified camels will be usable for all US and UK submarine classes, including COLUMBIA. Without these camel modifications, UKD will be at risk for hull damage when berthing at the EHWs or Layberth
