SPECIMEN KIT, URINE

The specimen kit for urine is designed for the collection and transfer of samples for detection of Chlamydia trachomatis and Neisseria gonorrhoeae using COBAS PCR technology, and includes a media tube and transfer pipette. Each box contains 100 kits and is procured under the NSN 6632-01-675-7582 with a quantity of two boxes required for delivery within 20 days. The product must comply with all applicable technical and quality requirements outlined in the DLA Master List, including packaging standards per RP001 and marking conforming to Medical Marking Standard No. 1, which replaces MIL-STD-129. All units must be sealed in commercial-grade containers that protect against damage and shipped in exterior containers suitable for safe transit at the lowest carrier rate to Luke AFB, Arizona. Shelf-life is strictly limited to 24 months from manufacture, with no more than three months elapsed between production and government delivery. Labels must clearly display the date of manufacture, expiration or retest date, and contract or lot number in accordance with MMS1C. Items are classified as TYPE I with a non-extendable shelf life, and government identification must be removed from any supplies not accepted. The solicitation is issued under SPE2DH-26-T-5059, with responses due by July 15, 2026.
