Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre (TBRHSC) invites Proposals for the turnkey replacement of one Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography (SPECT) camera, with an emphasis on high performance cardiac imaging, including myocardial perfusion and functional studies. The new system will replace existing GE dual-head and single-head gamma cameras that currently support approximately four to six (4–6) patients per day. The scope of this RFP includes equipment supply, delivery, installation, commissioning, training, warranty, post warranty service, software updates and upgrades, project management, and full IT/IS integration. Proponents are encouraged to propose advanced technologies, such as upright imaging, CZT or equivalent detector technology, and enhanced cardiac perfusion analysis capabilities, where these features demonstrably improve clinical performance, patient experience, and operational efficiency. This procurement will be conducted in accordance with the Broader Public Sector (BPS) Procurement Directive to ensure fairness, transparency, and value for money. TBRHSC also reserves the right to purchase one additional SPECT camera of the same make and model within two (2) fiscal years of contract award, under the same commercial terms, subject to funding and internal approvals.
