AI Contract Overview
The United States Air Force is conducting market research to identify potential sources for a Spectrum Analyzer requiring a minimum 200 MHz maximum analysis bandwidth, low phase noise, high dynamic range noise level, and SCPI record/replay functionality, essential for RF signal verification, detection of unwanted emissions, and sampled signal analysis in Edwards AFB’s anechoic chambers. This requirement stems from the need to replace aging equipment over 15 years old, with the new instrument critical to maintaining test accuracy and operational readiness during various phases of RF testing. The government is not issuing a solicitation or awarding a contract through this effort. Interested parties must submit company details including SAM Unique Entity ID, CAGE code, address, and points of contact along with a clear, concise market research quote outlining full technical specifications. Responses must also identify the business size classification (small or large) per SBA standards under NAICS code 334515, with small business defined as having up to 750 employees, and any applicable socioeconomic categorizations as defined in FAR Part 19. The government will not provide feedback, nor will it reimburse any costs incurred in responding, and submissions are limited to three pages. Responses are due by 9:00 AM Pacific Standard Time on July 23, 2026, and must comprehensively address all requirements—partial responses will not be accepted. All inquiries and submissions should be directed to the designated points of contact at Edwards Air Force Base.
