PURPOSE: The City of Hallandale Beach (City) is requesting proposals from qualified Firm(s) to provide a school zone speed detection system. The selected Firm will supply and install all necessary infrastructure and equipment, as well as monitor the system for violations. This service, including all infrastructure, equipment, and monitoring, will be provided at no cost to the city, with a revenue-sharing arrangement based on citations issued.
Traffic Study • This RFP includes evaluation criteria for a traffic study to be completed by the proposers. During the mandatory pre-proposal conference each represented company will be assigned a random school zone section within the City to perform a traffic study. • An online random list generator or randomizer will be utilized to assign the zones. The assignments will be released as Exhibit B after the pre-proposal conference.
