AI Contract Overview
This draft request for proposal is for a strategic multi-award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to support the repair, overhaul, remanufacture, and new production of parts for the F100-PW-220/229 engine used by the U.S. Air Force and Foreign Military Sales programs. The contract will serve as a critical supplement to the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Complex at Tinker Air Force Base, enhancing the sustainment and delivery speed of engine components. Although this is a pre-solicitation notice and no formal bids are being accepted, all future documentation will be accessible exclusively through the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) Solicitation Module, and vendors are strongly encouraged to register there. The official RFP is expected to be released by the end of June 2026 via SAM.gov and PIEE, with proposals due approximately 30 days after issuance and a pre-proposal conference scheduled between June 29 and July 10, 2026. The anticipated contract structure includes a ten-year total performance period with a five-year base and one five-year option, awarded to all qualified vendors under RFO 9.104, with no restrictions on foreign participation. Contract types will include both Firm-Fixed-Price and Cost-Reimbursable line items, with task and delivery orders governed by RFO 16.506 and 16.507. While current requirements center on the F100 engine, the scope is flexible and may include other platforms like the TF33 in the future. No funding is currently available; instead, funds will be obligated per task or delivery order, and all awarded contractors will meet a minimum order guarantee confirmed after award. Industry feedback is intentionally deferred until the formal solicitation to avoid confusion, and no responses will be provided to inquiries about this draft document.
