Solicitation # 36C25227Q0019
Solicitation 36C25227Q0019 is a request for quotes from the Department of Veterans Affairs for a Boiler Water Treatment Program at the VA Illiana Health Care System in Danville, Illinois. This firm-fixed-price contract is a total small business set-aside, with additional preference given to Veteran-Owned Small Businesses and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. The scope of work requires the contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to implement and monitor a treatment program for sixteen low-pressure steam boilers across six locations, as well as the monitoring and cleaning of one cooling tower twice per year. The contract structure consists of a one-year base period starting November 1, 2026, with four subsequent one-year options extending through October 31, 2031. Award will be based on the most advantageous offer, considering both price and technical factors. To be considered, offerors must demonstrate at least three consecutive years of experience in boiler water treatment, provide three examples of similar past performance, and prove the availability of required chemicals. Technical submissions must be kept separate from pricing and include a detailed narrative and performance schedule.
