Spokane VA Asbestos Inspection/Abatement Services

The Spokane Veterans Affairs Medical Center is seeking qualified providers to perform comprehensive asbestos management services at the Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center in Spokane, Washington, under a contract with a base year running from September 1, 2026, through August 31, 2027, and up to four one-year option periods extending through August 31, 2031. The scope of work includes semi-annual visual surveillance and triennial reinspections of asbestos-containing materials, bulk sampling and condition assessments of suspect materials, pre-construction asbestos surveys for renovation and small-scale projects, and independent oversight of all asbestos abatement activities. Oversight must be performed by a party entirely separate from the abatement contractor to ensure impartiality, and all field activities must be carried out by AHERA-accredited Building Inspectors.
