The proposed tree planting project requires the planting of an estimated 798,576 seedlings in the Mowhokam and Nahatlatch Areas. The total project size is approximately 572 ha. Maps are provided on the planting units for each block. The objective is to underplant crown land that has been damaged in the 2023 Kookipi Creek Fire (V11337) and the Mowhokam Fire (V11669). Subject to funding, the contract will be entered into April 1st, 2026. Further details as to the scope of this opportunity and the requirements can be found within this RFP.
