Please see attached document for details and instructions in regards to the Industry Day and Registration. PLEASE NOTE: FOREIGN NATIONALS MUST SUBMIT THEIR INFORMATION BY FEBRUARY 25TH, 2019. OTHER REGISTRANTS NEED TO SUBMIT INFORMATION NO LATER THAN MARCH 18TH, 2019 The United States Government will host a Next Generation Squad Weapon-Fire Control (NGSW-FC) Industry Day from March 28 to 29, 2019 at Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey to outline Next Generation Squad Weapon-Fire Control program strategy, anticipated schedule, desired capabilities, and evaluation criteria. Industry Days also provide vendors with the ability to ask questions and seek clarification during the general session and any scheduled one-on-one sessions. The NGSW-FC's objective is to provide a ruggedized fire control that increases accuracy and lethality for the dismounted warfighter on the battlefield. Capabilities are achieved through integration of advanced technologies to provide a fire control system consisting of a variable magnification, ballistic calculator, atmospheric sensor suite, and laser range finder. Combining these features with an in-scope digital display produces an adjusted aim-point for the Soldier within the field of view. The system will provide the weapon system an accurate range to target along with an adjusted aim point for the selected weapon/ammunition combination. Specific desired capabilities will be defined in the NGSW-FC Capability Matrix released with the DRAFT NGSW-FC Prototype Project Opportunity Notice (PPON). NGSW-FC systems will support development and future fielding of the NGSW-Automatic Rifle (AR) and NGSW-Rifle (R) programs. PROGRAM OVERVIEW The Government anticipates requiring prototype bid samples for prototype evaluation during the first quarter FY2020. The Government intends on releasing a DRAFT PPON approximately two weeks before the Industry Day. The Government anticipates awarding Section 815 prototype project(s) utilizing Full and Open Competitive Other Transaction Agreement (OTA) to prototype Next Generation Squad Weapon - Fire Control (NGSW-FC) systems. Industry may submit questions regarding the PPON or Industry Day to the point of contacts listed below. INDUSTRY DAY FORMAT The Industry Days will take place on Thursday March 28th, and Friday March 29th, 2019. The NGSW-FC program overview will be provided on March 28st, 2019 beginning at 9:00am and will be completed by 12:00pm at the Cannon Gates Conference Center, 121 Buffington Rd, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806. Picatinny Arsenal's Visitor's Center opens at 7:00am with registration at the conference center to begin at 8:30am. The overview briefing will begin at 9:00am. After the NGSW-FC program overview is complete, vendors are expected to leave Picatinny Arsenal and then return for their scheduled one-on-one session. The one-on-one sessions will be at the Main Conference Room, Bldg. 151 starting from March 28, 2019 at 1:00pm through March 29, 2019, as necessary. One-on-one session timeslots will be on a first come first serve basis. One-on-one sessions will be limited to 30 minutes with a 10-15 minute break between sessions. Registered Vendors who anticipate partnership may schedule a joint one-on-one session. Vendors will be provided with the ability to ask questions and seek clarification during the general session and any scheduled one-on-one sessions. **************************************************************************************************
