AI Contract Overview
St Laurence High School is seeking bids for a 36-month internet access contract with a baseline symmetrical speed of 3 gigabits, scalable up to 10 gigabits. The agreement requires pre-negotiated, locked-in pricing for all speed increments to allow for in-place upgrades via service substitution without the need for re-bidding. While fiber is the preferred medium, alternative technologies will be considered if they provide equivalent reliability and scalability. All solutions must include installation, configuration, a service level agreement, a method for reporting outages, and basic technical support at no additional fee. Bidders must provide a detailed breakdown of all eligible and ineligible non-recurring and monthly recurring costs, including applicable taxes, fees, and any special construction expenses. Submissions must include contract documentation that supports the requested bandwidth range and assumes service availability by July 1st of the requested funding year. The applicant expresses a preference for service provider invoicing and requires all bids and inquiries to be submitted via email to Brian Wichert.

Full Description
-Internet access, via fiber or otherwise, for a baseline speed of 3 gigabits symmetrical, up to 10 gigabits symmetrical, in whatever megabit increments are available, over a 36 month multi-year period within a contract that allows for upgrades in-place via a service substitution. Due to USAC EPC limitations, the table above does not provide for a 3-gigabit speed so 5-gigabit is identified therein but only a baseline of 3 gigabits is needed.
That means that whatever pricing for the baseline of 3 gigabits up through 10 gigabits (for future growth) within the contract terms of 36 months is locked-in and known by the bidder and the applicant and all upgraded pricing to a higher speed will not require re-bidding, is will be pre-negotiated and already known within the contract.
- All solutions should include installation and all configuration costs (if needed), a method to report outages, and receive basic technical support without additional service fees, and a service level agreement.
- Please note that although fiber is the preferred solution, we are willing to consider solutions based on alternative technologies, as long as the solution allows for scalability and reliability equivalent to the preferred solution.
- Bids must include all eligible and any ineligible NRC (Non Recurring Costs) and MRC (Monthly Recurring Costs) costs separately, so applicant can evaluate all bids properly and fairly.
Do not forget to include any applicable taxes and fees.
- Bidder must identify all special or construction costs.
- All submitted bids for network services will be assumed to be available as of July 1st of the funding year requested.
- All bids must include contract documentation for acceptance, and the contract must include a speed/bandwidth range in accordance with a baseline and a maximum being requested, in whatever increments are available from the bidder, up to the maximum requested, and upgradeable in-place within the term of the agreement.
- The Applicant prefers Service Provider Invoicing and will score bids in accordance with the bidders agreement to abide by this preference.
- Bids and questions must be submitted via email to Brian Wichert - bwichert@stlaurence.com
