ST. MARY’S RIVER TOWER REPLACEMENT SAILORS ENCAMPMENT RANGE (LL5414, LL5415)

This ITT cancels and supersedes previous Invitation to Qualify and ITT number 30005469, dated May 16, 2024 with a closing of May 31, 2024 at 2:00 PM EDT. Work under this Contract includes but is not limited to the provision of all labour, materials, and equipment required to: • Design of two [2] site specific concrete foundations for towers supplied by Canadian Coast Guard (CCG); • Supply and installation of two [2] concrete foundations as approved by CCG; • Installation of CCG supplied towers as per CCG provided drawings; • Demolition of two [2] existing skeleton style towers and concrete foundations. CCG Sailors Encampment range towers are at the end of their lifecycle and are required to be replaced. All sites are accessible by land/vehicle. The exact coordinates of the sites are as follows: • Sailors Encampment LL5414 front range tower : 46°15'39.54"N, 84° 5'51.12"W • Sailors Encampment LL5415 rear range tower: 46°15'58.85"N, 84° 5'42.66"W Under this contract, a site specific concrete foundation shall be designed and stamped by a Professional Engineer practicing within the Province of Ontario. Geotechnical reports and tower drawings will all be provided by CCG to the Contractor to assist in the design the site specific foundations. When the foundation design has been approved by CCG, the Contractor shall construct the foundations and erect CCG supplied ‘Quebec Towers’. Tower heights to be provided will be 40’ and 70’. Erection of the towers will not include the installation of their corresponding Daymarks as CCG staff will supply and install this portion of the tower. When new towers have been installed in their entirety, the Contractor shall then demolish the existing towers including their concrete foundations. This contracts completion date will be March 31st of 2025.
