St. Marys Fish Hatchery 10 KW generator

The Ohio Department of Natural Resources, through its Division of Wildlife, is seeking proposals for the installation of a standby generator at St. Marys State Fish Hatchery in Ohio. This project is designed to improve the facility's operational efficiency by securing a dependable power source using a 10 KW Generac LP gas air-cooled standby generator. The contractor's responsibilities include delivering and installing the generator, along with an aluminum enclosure, and establishing a prefabricated concrete/composite generator pad. Additional tasks involve the installation of a 16 circuit automatic transfer switch, a battery and oil heater kit, and tapping into a nearby 500-gallon LP tank line approximately 50 feet away. Electrical integration with the existing service entrance panel at the office/shop is also part of the project scope. To ensure compliance and safety standards, the contractor is required to obtain appropriate permits from the Division of Industrial Compliance and provide stamped drawings by a professional engineer as part of the bid package. This work must adhere to the latest National Electrical Code, along with applicable mechanical and plumbing codes, and all work has to be performed by a licensed or registered electric firm within Ohio. The entire project, including first-year service, is covered under the contract price, which also includes all materials, labor, and shipping costs.
