Justification for the Pre-Identified Supplier The pre-identified supplier, Gryphon Engineering Services, is the only vendor known to have a current solution that would meet the requirement, as identified in section two. Due to a mandatory project deadline and a delivery date of May 12th, 2023, it is not believed to be in the interest of any bidder to undertake the design process.6. Government Contracts Regulations Exception The following exception to the Government Contracts Regulations is invoked for this procurement under subsection 6(c): Not in the public interest.7. Ownership of Intellectual Property DND will be obtaining the rights to Gryphon Engineering Services’ designs to allow DND to provide Industry with the drawings to openly compete the part numbers listed in section two in future requirements. 8.
