Standing Offer - Quality Assurance and Material Testing, New Brunswick
Public Works and Government Services Canada has a requirement for the establishment of a Regional Individual Standing Offer (RISO). Work under this Standing Offer includes the testing and inspection of concrete, asphaltic concrete, soils, granular fill, compaction and mortar materials (including Heritage Mortar). Inspection of reinforcing bar layout will be required for various projects to be located throughout New Brunswick Counties. The period of the Standing Offer will be for two years with two option years from the date of award and will be on an "as and when required" basis in accordance with Annex "F" forming part of the bid document.
A standing offer is an agreement and not a contract. Offerors should note that there is no guarantee that the full or any amount of the standing offer will be called-up.
After issuance of a standing offer, offerors may request a debriefing on the results of the request for standing offers. Offerors should make the request to the Standing Offer Authority within 15 working days of receipt of notification that their offer was unsuccessful. The debriefing may be provided in writing, by telephone or in person.
Inquiries: All inquiries of a technical nature and all questions of a contractual nature are to be submitted in writing to the Contractual Authority: Edward Johnston, telephone - (506) 343-6382, facsimile - (506) 851-6759, email - edward.johnston@pwgsc.gc.ca. Inquiries are to be made in writing and should be received no less than five (5) calendar days prior to the closing date to allow sufficient time to respond.
Firms intending to submit tenders on this project should obtain tender documents through the Government Electronic Tendering System (GETS). Addenda, when issued, will be available on GETS.
Standard terms and conditions for this procurement are incorporated by reference, and form part of the tender and contract documents. The standard documents are issued by Public Works and Government Services and may be viewed at buyandsell.gc.ca.
This PWGSC office provides procurement services to the public in both official languages.
