The Minnesota National Guard intends to issue a Request for Quotes (RFQ) to award a single, firm fixed-price, Indefinite Delivery /Indefinite Quantity contract to provide Storage Batteries to approximately 12 Surface Maintenance organizations throughout the State of Minnesota. A "Sources Sought" Notice for this requirement was previously posted under Solicitation W912LM-11-T-0008. The associated North American Standard Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) is 6140. This action is offered as unrestricted. The tentative date for issuing this RFQ is on or about 20 September, 2011. The RFQ closing date is 03 October, 2011. Actual dates and times will be identified in the RFQ. Interested offerors must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Firms can register via the CCR internet site at http://www.ccr.gov or by contacting the CCR Information Center @ 1-888-227-2423. Interested offerors are required to submit their representations and certifications on-line @ http://orca.bpn.gov. You will need your DUNS number and CCR MPIN in order to log in to the On-line Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) website. The RFQ will be posted to the Army Single Face to industry (ASFI) web site at http://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ for electronic download. Amendments, if/when issued will be posted the ASFI web page at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ for electronic download. This will normally be the only method of distributing amendments prior to closing; therefore it is the offeror's responsibility to check the website periodically for any amendments to the Solicitation.
