Tobyhanna Army Depot, in coordination with the Army Contracting Command, is seeking information from U.S.-based manufacturers capable of large-scale production of stator core assemblies for small unmanned aircraft systems, with an absolute requirement that all materials and manufacturing processes be 100% sourced and performed within the United States. This Request for Information, issued under solicitation number W51AA1STATOR and posted on July 21, 2026, with responses due by July 31, 2026, is strictly for market research and does not constitute a solicitation or commitment to award a contract. Respondents must demonstrate the ability to produce stator cores measuring 22–35mm in diameter and 6–20mm in height, incorporating stacked and bonded laminations with epoxy powder coating, and meeting stringent electrical performance standards through surge, hipot, and resistance testing. Vendors are required to maintain a monthly production capacity of at least 40,000 units and must provide full traceability of materials from raw source to final assembly, including a documented “birth certificate” for each batch that confirms domestic origin and chain of custody. The use of any materials, components, tooling, or processing from China, Russia, Iran, or North Korea is strictly prohibited, and prime contractors are responsible for ensuring these restrictions extend throughout the entire supply chain. All submissions must comply with ISO 9001 and AS9100D quality standards and must be submitted as a single capability statement not exceeding seven pages in PDF or Word format via email to the designated government point of contact. Proprietary information must be clearly marked on every page, and all submitted materials become the property of the U.S. Government. The place of performance and final acceptance will occur at Tobyhanna Army Depot, Pennsylvania, though no delivery schedule, FOB terms, or contract value has been established. No formal evaluation factors, award basis, or contract clauses are applicable at this stage, as this is solely an information-gathering action to assess industry readiness and domestic supply chain capability in support of critical tactical sUAS programs.
