The Ministry is planning to replace the existing coverall fabric on four existing material storage buildings and install steel cladding on the building structure. The material storage buildings are located at the Vankleek Hill, Stonecliffe, Madoc and Young’s Point MTO patrol yards.The contract shall include an engineered design to incorporate steel cladding onto the existing steel structure of the building, i.e., strapping system; and front and rear wall designs as required. The design is to consider snow, wind and other loading requirements for the respective areas as required.The existing coverall fabrics are to be removed and properly disposed as part of this contract. Any materials used for this project are to be be reviewed and approved by the Ministry prior to use.
