The Department of National Defence (DND) is requesting Industry feedback regarding the procurement of steel sheets, plates, and structural beams for use by the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN) and the Department of National Defence (DND). The objective of this RFI is to share the DND’s requirement and seek feedback from Industry on potential options to meet the DND’s needs. This is the first step of a procurement process and is intended to determine availability of goods over the next ten years, and the ability for Industry to deliver to the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN), third party shipyards and Canadian Armed Forces bases in Montreal, Levis, Halifax, and Esquimalt, as and when requested.
