The contract pertains to the procurement of four Synergy Dual-Frequency, Dual Head stethoscopes with a bell-diaphragm design, floating diaphragm, plastic tubing extending from the chest piece to the aural tubes, and included snap-on polyurethane eartips with long black tubing. The items must be delivered within five days to designated Department of Defense locations including APO AE 09094-3219, FE Warren AFB WY, and Keesler AFB MS. Packaging must adhere to commercial standards with each unit sealed in a protective container and packed in exterior shipping containers suitable for safe transport by common carrier at the lowest rate, with export packaging applied when necessary. Marking of all units must comply with Medical Marking Standard No. 1, which supersedes MIL-STD-129 for medical acquisitions, and preservation and packaging must conform to MIL-STD-2073-1E under special packaging instruction MPPWN00001. All materials must be marked in accordance with MMS No. 1, and copies of the standard are available through DLA Troop Support.
