This requirement is for: The Correctional Service of Canada, Ontario Region - Kingston. Trade agreement: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA). Tendering procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid. Competitive Procurement Strategy: lowest priced compliant bid. Set-aside under the Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business: This procurement is not subject to any set-asides for Indigenous Suppliers. Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: This procurement is not subject to a Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement. Security Requirements: This contract does not include security requirements. Nature of Requirements: The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement. The Correctional Service Canada (CSC) requires the services of a qualified roofing Contractor. Objectives: To remove and replace the existing roofing finishes, flashings, deck protection, and trims on the Stone Gables Building. Deliverables: The Contractor must: 1. remove and dispose of existing asphalt shingles, tar paper, trims, and valley flashings. 2. supply and install new plywood as required based on square footage line-item pricing. 3. supply and install ice and water shield on all eaves, valleys, and around chimneys as required. 4. supply and install synthetic vapour barrier over the entire roof deck. 5. supply and install new valley steel and eave starter. 6. supply and install new fibreglass architectural shingles. 7. supply and install roll ridge venting on all peaks. 8. supply and install all neoprene’s and caulking as required to make the replacement roofing system watertight. 9. provide a minimum 1-year warranty on workmanship and materials.
