Notes: This contract has a delayed start provision. All work shall be diligently prosecuted to completion within the time specified in the Contract Documents.
Within ten (10) calendar days of Contract execution, the Contractor shall submit proof of order for the prefabricated metal building plans and associated structural calculations. Upon receipt of the supplier’s delivery schedule, the Contractor shall, within ten (10) calendar days, provide written confirmation of the scheduled delivery date. Upon receipt of the plans and calculations, the Contractor shall promptly submit copies to the County to secure the building permit.
Within ten (10) calendar days of permit issuance, the Contractor shall submit proof of order for the prefabricated metal building materials. The Contractor’s working days shall be deemed to begin fifteen (15) working days prior to the scheduled delivery date of said materials. If this calculated start date falls on a weekend or recognized holiday, the working days shall commence on the next business day in accordance with the Caltrans 5-Day Workweek Calendar.
