DLA Troop Support is conducting market research to identify potential manufacturers for strapping, specifically NSN 5340-01-670-8739 and Panduit Corporation part number NCMSCNW50T20CR4. This is a Sources Sought Notice rather than a formal solicitation, and the government is seeking sources for a projected quantity of 3,708 units. Because drawings are unavailable, interested parties must submit a Source Approval Request package to the buyer exclusively via CD-Rom to be considered as a qualified source of supply. The notice emphasizes that the government is not obligated to make a purchase based on this inquiry and will not compensate respondents for submitted information. Prospective contractors must coordinate with Acquisition Specialist Mary Regan by November 25, 2019. It is noted that any future solicitation will proceed regardless of whether a submitted Source Approval Request is still under evaluation by the Engineering Support Activity.
