Strategic Wood Addition - Headwaters of the North Branch and Little River

Friends of the Winooski River is seeking proposals from qualified sawyers and restoration professionals to implement Strategic Wood Additions across 2.3 miles of the North Branch and Little River headwaters in Vermont. The primary goals of this project are to enhance aquatic habitats and improve floodplain connectivity. The selected contractor will be responsible for documenting all as-built installations using photos, coordinates, and stream measurements while adhering to the LCBP Quality Assurance Project Plan. Key deliverables include reporting the final linear feet of stream restored, total acres of floodplain restored, and phosphorus reductions achieved.
