The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has issued Streambed Alteration Agreement No. EPIMS-TRI-59909-R1 in connection with Timber Harvesting Plan (THP) 1-25-00066-TRI Yew Wood Creek. Located in Trinity County, California, approximately 1.5 miles northeast of Kettenpom, the project scope involves the installation of four temporary stream crossings and the upgrade or removal of one existing crossing within Yew Wood Creek and its unnamed tributaries. The work is situated within the Upper South Dobbyn Creek and Bluff Creek planning watersheds, specifically in Township 3S, Range 6E, Sections 24 and 25 of the Humboldt Base and Meridian. This agreement is governed by the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), with CALFIRE serving as the lead agency and CDFW as the responsible agency. A Notice of Determination dated July 23, 2025, confirms that the project will not have significant environmental effects, provided that all mitigation measures specified in the certified Timber Harvest Plan are implemented.
