Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. (GPI) has been contracted by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation to perform NBIS bridge inspections of various state-owned structures located in PennDOT District 1-0. The inspections are scheduled to be performed at various times over the period between April 1, 2026, and December 31, 2026. GPI will require services of a contractor to provide inspection support services, rigging, and maintenance & protection of traffic (MPT) during the inspections.
GPI will receive bids from qualified Contractors electronically via the PennBid Program, until 10:00 AM (EST) Friday, February 27th, 2026. Complete bid packages may be obtained at no cost via PennBid (www.pennbid.net).
The Contractor must provide evidence of at least 10 years of experience in providing MPT and Inspection Support services on PennDOT projects of similar size and complexity for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and references (including contact person and phone number) from previous projects. The contractor must provide MPT in strict accordance with PennDOT Publication 213 (April 2022).
Bids will be reviewed Friday, February 27th, 2026. GPI will award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder that meets contracts specifications. GPI reserves the right to reject any or all bids deemed not in conformance with the bid requirements.
