Army Contracting Command - Rock Island intends to issue Solicitation W52P1J-16-R-0073 for the Subscriber Unit Radio and Accessory Contract (SURAC), at https://www.fbo.gov/ on or around 15 March 2016 with a closing date of 20 calendar days after issuance. This requirement for the SURAC program will offer commercial Land Mobile Radio (LMR) technology products and services. This contract will allow for the acquisition of subscriber unit equipment, accessories, and ancillary equipment to ensure 100% operation and interoperability of units such as programming platforms, key management facilities (KMF), and key variable loaders (KVL). Subscriber Unit products include portable, mobile and desktop subscriber units, programming platform(s), KVLs and KMFs. The applicable NAICS code is 334220. This acquisition for this requirement will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award contract. All prospective contractors shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award. All contractors who provide goods/services to the Department of Defense (DoD) must be registered in SAM. You may register via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ or contact the SAM Registration Assistance Center at 1-866-606-8220, customer service, and request the registration form and assistance packet for completion.
