Public Announcement of Intent to Purchase on a Sole Source Basis. The Government intends to procure online access to Springer Science + Business Media LLC 2014 and 2015 back files Computer Science eBooks, one-time buy for perpetual access. NAICS: 519130, FSC: 7630, SIZE STANDARD: 500 employees. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). This announcement is being published for informational purposes only. The proposed source is Springer Science + Business Media LLC. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the Air Force. The Government will consider any responses received within 5 days of this posting. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement, and the Government does not intend to pay for any information received in response to this announcement.
